I arrived in Koh Lanta on a stop over for 1 night one my way to Koh Karutao. Koh Lanta was lovely, white soft sand but very quiet. I stayed in this beach bungalow which had a toilet and shower opened aired outside, was a little showering and listening to the farm animals nearby. I have now been in Railay beach for 3 days and I love it here. I am staying in East Railay which is the cheaper accomodation for backpackers, then of a daytime I'm heading for West Railay beach as its absolutly amazing. It is a long spacious beach with warm clear green water, then there are these limestone cliffs around which make an amazing backdrop. Yesterday I tried Rock Climbing for the first time. well it is seriously hard and today I'm a little tired aft...

I have now been on Koh Phi Phi for about a week, it has been like a weeks holiday rather than backpacking...as its pretty much just Beach and Bars. Since the Tsunami, Phi Phi has, from what I remember completly changed...last time I was here you could stand on one beach and look across the island to the beach on the other side of the island. Well not anymore, there are more resort type accomodation being build for the holidaymakers...what about us backpackers h...

Well I have arrived in Bangkok again, which feels like a second home to me at the moment, as I have been here so many times! Left Phnom Penh and took the very very long journey (16 hours) to Bangkok. The Cambodian part of the journey was a bit exhausting as every river crossing, you have to get off the bus, jump on a ferry across the river and get on a new bus at the other side...this happened 3 times. After crossing the Cambodian-Thailand border it was smooth...

We arrived in Phnom Penh ready to hit the markets and do some last minute shopping before Sar had to leave. We booked ourselves into this lovely hotel for our last night, it had a lovely 4-poster bed, TV and 2 Air-conditioners!!!
