Hello, I went to Iceland if you did not figure that out. In Iceland there were never-ending volcano fields with moss. The fields were interesting for a while but then it was boring looking at them all the time. One of the other things we went to was a geyser and that was not boring. It was so windy at the geyser that I almost fell over! My family and me were waiting at the wrong geyser for so long that we almost left, then my mom was walking to the car when the geyser behind us went off and she ran right back to us. At the end, the geyser went off which was great, but while we were waiting there I felt like I was going to fall into the geyser because it was so windy.
I also went to the blue lagoon, which was so cool because it felt like you were in a hot tub, and it was double cool because it was the Earths hot tub. After the blue lagoon we were on the road going to the new hotel but this road was not normal, this road was like the death road in Bolivia (you will have to google that to see what I mean). There were twists and turns while you were right next to the sea or sometimes a lava cliff. I was so scared that I screamed more than once.
Well, that night we had a special dinner at the hotel. At the dinner the only weird thing that I saw was all the different salmons that they had. I think there were about seven different salmons. While we were having dinner we also figured out that they keep so many horses there because they eat them, I was about to cry because I love horses so much and they are not meant to be killed in my mind. The other sad thing that we figured out was some polar bears from Greenland travel to Iceland on icecaps because of global warming. When they get to Iceland they are very hungry and want to eat something, but there is nothing that they eat there so people kill them. I do not think that is right. Well, on to some other things I did like seeing- the Mid Atlantic Ridge!!!!!!!
The Mid Atlantic Ridge is a crack, which is under the water and travels through the whole world (if you did not know that). The only place it is above the water is in Iceland. The Mid Atlantic Ridge separates America and Europe but while doing that it also goes right through Iceland and splits it in half. The crack is big enough to fit about 5 buses in it because it's so big! The crack moves apart 2.5cm every year and because of that Iceland gets bigger and bigger every year. Thank you for listening, bye and I will be back to you with some clues next. Thank you, bye and don't forget to comment.
