After a good night sleep, breakfast and a visit to the supermarket to buy supplies for our cruise . We boarded the Celebrity Eclipse, with very little queuing. Greeted by a hostess with a glass of champagne. Our cabin was not ready and we went of exploring and had some lunch on the back deck. The ship is only one year old , all bright shiny and modern. Booked some Internet time and off to our cabin for a rest. Our dinner was booked for the early setting 6.15...

After breakfast at our riverbank hotel in Turo we once again boarded the train with a few stops and changes to Southampton via Bath. Long journey 5 and 1/2 hours latter we arrived at Southampton. Checked in to our hotel the Grand Harbour. Went and checked out the dockside and visited the Marine Museum with a Titanic display. Dinner in the hotel restaurant early night - ready for our cruise tomorrow.

Up early and a stroll around town, then breakfast in the hotel restaurant Pesadou. David had the traditional bacon and egg and I had the smoked haddock and poached egg. Local produce. Checked out of the hotel and proceeded to Ricks Steins gift shop to purchase souvenirs. We left Padstow on a beautiful sunny day with fond memories of our night in this seaside village . After a train journey from Bath we arrived in Turo. One hertz hire car later and maybe a few miss directions by one Mrs Salter we arrived in Padstow . What a cute seaside village. After a very posh breakfast in the beautiful Bath Spa Hotel Dining Room we donned our swimsuits , fluffy robes and slippers and headed to the day spa. We swam in the outdoor pool, jumped in the heated spa , tried the sauna and ice room. We had a spa at Bath Spa! 0n the train from Bath to Bristol to Plymouth to Turo .
