After arriving in Barcelona at 8am yesterday morning we hung around the boat port till 11am as our check in wasn't till 12pm and we had our packs with us so we couldn't do much. We checked in to our hostel and then went straight to the supermarket to get some lunch, we were starving. We decided to go to the magic fountain tonight so we had lunch and a sleep. When we woke up we got ready and headed to the magic fountain and museum. There were lots of stairs and we walked all the way to the top and got some good photos of the view, the gardens there were really nice. We then went to La Rumbla (busy streets with markets and lots of cafes/restaurants) we had dinner there and then caught the metro home. Today we woke early and had breakfast at the hostel for €1.50 which was cereal, toast, fruit and juice. Nelly is the owner and she is very friendly, it's been a nice hostel to stay at. Nelly did a load of washing at the hostel for me, I had no undies left and hardly any clothes to wear so I really needed it, it cost €7. We then went to the boat port for the day and shopped around. We had a stir fry for lunch, you can choose your own ingredients here and they cook it up for you, it was really nice and a chance for me to eat some veggies. We walked around the local markets and I bought another wrist band I have 5 now (Ireland, Paris, San Sebastian, Ibiza, Barcelona) Lauren went and got her hair done while Clint and I shopped in the shopping centre on the port. We had an ice cream on the way home. I had vanilla, caramel brownie it was so good. Tonight we are staying in and packing as we have to leave the hostel at 6am tomorrow morning to be at the train station by 6:30am to catch the train to Nice.
