Saturday morning we left our sail Croatia family and headed to the port to catch a ferry to Hvar. We arrived in Hvar at 1pm and walked to our luxurious hotel above the sea front. We weren't able to check in until 3pm so we stayed in the lobby/bar area and had lunch outside on the balcony overlooking the pool. Once we were able to check in we went to our room and all had a cool shower because we were so hot and sweaty from traveling. We couldn't be bothered doing much after that so we just hung around in our air conditioned room. Later on when it cooled down I went for a walk along all the piers. When I got back I had another shower and ordered a chicken caesar salad from room service for dinner. Sunday morning Lauren woke up early and went to collect our beach towels for the day to reserve our sun beds. Everyone here wakes early to do the same thing then they go back to bed or have breakfast and return to their 'claimed' chair later, so we do the same. Sunday we laid by the pool all day and went for a swim every so often to cool off. We had two umbrellas near our sun beds so I put mine up and had a sleep in the shade. We ate lunch at the restaurant by the pool and then relaxed a little more. I am reading a book at the moment that I bought on my iPhone it's called 'Marching Powder.' It is a true story about a English man in San Pedro Prison in La Paz, Bolivia. It's a great read and I can't put it down. Sunday night we had dinner at a restaurant along the pier and then went back to the gym at our hotel to have a few rally's of table tennis, it was good fun. Monday morning it was my turn to do the towels on the sun beds and after breakfast we went down to the pool to do nothing again all day except sleep, swim, bake, read and eat. Later in the afternoon I walked down to buy our ferry tickets to Split and then came home to have a shower before dinner. We had a buffet dinner at the restaurant in our hotel. There was a great variety of food and I ate lots of veggies. We then came back to our room and I read some more of my book before bed. Tomorrow afternoon we leave Hvar and head to Split where we meet Diana and then we all catch a bus to Pag. Photo is a birds eye view of the pool at our hotel.
