Today was our first day in Dubrovnik after arriving last night. In the morning we went down into the main town and had a bite to eat for lunch. We saw a man dressed as a pirate with 5 big birds/parrots red, blue and green. You give a small donation and the man puts a few birds on you. I did one only and got the best bird, the blue one. We then bought a ticket to walk around the wall surrounding the old city. The views from the wall were very nice and it took us about 2 and a half hours to get the whole way round because we stopped so many times to get photos. We then headed home to get our swimmers and head to a bay to swim, we had a quick swim and a sun bake and then went to the supermarket to get dinner. Lauzi cooked dinner tonight. We had chicken breast skewers with grilled vegetables; onion, zucchini and yellow capsicum, a cold tomato salad and some bread. It smelt so good while it was cooking and tasted close to a home cooked meal which was nice. We then hit the sack as we have an early start. We booked kayaks for 5 hours tomorrow, 10:30 to 3:30.
