Canada's World Tour
ok i thought i had better post again while i was still in vietnam. after two days confined to a public bus, with very inconsiderate passengers, i arrived in Hanoi. it was a very nice place just to chill out. and that is exactly what i needed, a few days just to sit in cafes and watch the world go by. i have grown tired of seeing temples if i am being honest.
have moved on to hoi an now, ordered some suits to be made, thought i should as that is the only reason i really brough a credit card with me, except for emergencies of course. Hoi an is nice and quiet, not much of a night life as it is a historic old town. but there are several nice places to sit and have a drink.
on the way down here i had to change busses at a place called hue. i did not like that place. i feel like it had a rough time from me though. both times i stopped there i arrived at about half six in the morning after having gotten no sleep on an overnight bus, only to be told the next bus was not for five hours! i nearly avoided the wait the second time round, but thanks to the ineptitude of the company i booked my ticket with i missed the bus by about five minutes, thereby forcing me to endure another soul destroying spell in the most boring part of town.
oh well, i am out of there now. i am really looking forward to nha trang as i have heard good reports from people about it. so we shall wait and see whether it lives up to its reputation.
