Hi Callum. Just thought you'd be pleased to know that we are just about managing without you here...it's tough but we just have to get on with it. Oh and I'm pleased you gave my special edition "Lonsdale" coat that you borrowed at the bus stop in Darlington because you were cold to your Chilian friend. He obviously appreciated its quality and style. I'll have to go to Sports World now for another one.
I'm glad things are going well and according to plan. Enjoy the Incas...I don't think they collect human heads any more but you might want to keep the hood up on the jacket, just in case.
Love
Dad

haha like your Mums comments on looking after `the leather` and its potential worth ... think I`ll need to negotiate a small percentage of the profits incase global bidding commences before you return!!!
Take care in South America (wouldnt want yr mum getting a ransom note.. for the safe return of your jacket !)

Well I hope this isn't a repeat.....don't like to keep sending you 'muvsy' messages.....but the blog didn't seem to send my last message because I didn't bother to complete a simple sum!!!! How on earth does that make them know I am genuine? there must be a million people in the world that can do a very simple addition of two single numbers! I do apologise if both my messages get sent tonight.....don't want to bore you!
Anyway, just wanted to say great to read your update.....I received some 'computer speak'.....or 'gobbldy****' with it.....so don't know if there was a problem? Looking forward to photos.....you both seem to be having such amazing experiences......far away from this 'snowy/cold/wet/ winter weather' that we are having. Yes you have experienced cold.....but in such exciting new cities and countries......
carry on enjoying your travels....most of all both of you....keep safe ...by the way how many of these 'new friends' you are meeting are likely to land on our doorsteps???? Only joking that is fine! Look after 'the leather'.....it is going to be worth a fortune on e bay when you return.......with its own special 'no holds barred blog'.....so look after it and continue being photographed in it!!!
Take care ........love.......Mex

All part of the experience Caldy!! ;P Well, I had just signed into my email account with the intention of sending you a newsy update mail, then couldn't resist the tempation to check your blog again to see if you had updated it!!! Now then, hope you`ve enjoyed the first leg of your trip, the photos look great so far, it does look bloody cold and I`m sure you are looking forward to reaching warmer climates and checking out some of those great beaches `and beachbabes` in Miami, Rio, Fiji and Oz. Which brings me to the subject of dressing for the weather.... I couldnt help noticing you're your pics that you are living up to the reputation that is the resilience of the north by donning only a waist length casual leather jacket in sub-zero temperatures, irrespective of where in the world you are!A step up from a night out round Newcastle in mid Jan with just a t-shirt on I guess, which we`ve all done ha. I cant help getting an image of you stood at the north pole (title obviously Scott of the Antarctic!) wearing only jeans and your brown leather which by now, and with the help of your photo`s, I reckon is becoming quite famous! I`m sure all who know you well will think its very funny when they see your photos knowing your carefree attitude and what your like! i.e. packing for a round the world trip entailing a pair of jeans, jacket, a couple of t-shirts, jumper and a toothbrush packed the night before hehe( I`m sure you will remember the time you were living at mine in Workington whilst working at Corus, we`d had a heavy night out during the week and you went to work wearing my daughters white school blouse that you had mistaken for your shirt... not realising until you went home at the weekend after your mum had collapsed in fits of laughter after sorting your washing out! only you could`ve managed that one! )I hope you can keep this theme running and include photos of the infamous jacket in all the places around the world you visit. It would be hilarious to finish off the compilation with a pic of you stood on some tropical chalk white beach, shorts, flip flops, cocktail, bronzed tan - brown...jacket haha. I`m sure before you are finished there will be a demand that it even has its own blog site... a few suggestions for the title perhaps :
"Memoirs of a leather jacket"
"Full Leather Jacket"
"Around the world in 1 leather"
" The Brown Leather Chronicles"
Haha Anyway will look forward to your next update and experiences, wil catch up with ya soon mate and who knows I might just take you up on your offer and join you in Oz for 2 or 3 weeks if we`ve all still got jobs in the UK by then. Have a great one!!

Hi Callum
Margaret is getting disciplined for that last message, obviously doing nothing at WAC, and dissing the office - you know it wasn't that bad.
Had a brief look at pics - are you woolly hat one or woolly hat two?
Especially liked the photo of the wall with all the debris plastered to it - a bit like Wendy's front room.
Keep on moving, keep on blogging and keep in touch (especially with your mam and dad)!
Love Chris
Margaret
