We have been on a 4 wheel drive trip to the Bolivian altiplano for the last few days. Driven through the high Andes past different coloured lagunas, flamingoes, Llamas, smoking volcanoes and finally a huge salt lake-plane. The first night we stayed at 4300m in a cabin and guess what.....we got altitude sickness.....again! It even snowed to make us a little colder. Luckily the spliting headache only lasted one night. Last night we stayed in a hotel made entirely of salt. Been an amazing trip but now we are stuck in a small town in Bolivia waiting to get back to Chile. Staying high up again on the way back.

Next we have had to take a flight back to Santiago, because we started the Bolivia trip a day late, due to bag fiasco, and missed the bus for that week to Argentina! Going straight to Mendoza and missing Salta - for our parents benefit!
