I got up and went to school like normal, after school I went out to lunch and after that I went home and hungout and played cards with a friend for a couple hours. Then we ate dinner and after that I met up with the rest of the group and went to a professional soccer game in the stadium in the middle of the city. We watched and ate churros with dulce de leche in the middle and eventually heredias team won. After the game we all went to our houses and went to bed.

I went to school in the morning and after that I went out to lunch with my freind to a little pizza place near the towns public basketball courts. After lunch our teacher suggested that our group should play basketball, we made plans to go play after dinner and we went down and played a five on five game of basketball. After that we went out and explored the town more and then we went back to our houses and went to bed.

On our third day in costa rica we went to school for the first time, I had to be at the school by seven thirty so I got up at six thirty and my mama tica made gallo pinto. gallo pinto is a breakfast dish made from rice, beans, and eggs. After breakfast i walked to school and met my teacher carolina for the first time. After school I walked around and explored the city more.

Day two in Costa Rica, we visited volcan poas and toured the intercultura campus in heredia. It was our first time seeing the city of heredia during the day and we got our first chance to look around and explore the city.

On our first day in costa rica we landed at SJO international airport and we met our host families at the airport. My host mothers name was senora flor and her and her son picked us up and drove us to her house which was about 15 minutes away in the city of heredia.
