Arrived in Namibia this morning and after bulls***ting our way through immigration we got a taxi bus thing to Windhoek. Safe to say Namibian driving is horrendous and there is no concept of seatbelts which is slightly worrying, however on the way to the city after about 15 mins on the road we saw a couple of baboons just chilling on the side of the road ! Pretty casual really.

We then decided to chill at our temporary hostels pool for a while which was cool and a nice break from the long haul flights on which we were offered Lemon chicken at about 9 in the morning !!

We then ventured out into windhoek which was great. the roads are terrifying though. We had to follow other namibians across the road only crossing when they crossed ! Safe to say we got a few funny looks.

I had my first Namibian meal as well ! for those worried about me being under fed, do not panic ! The meals here are huge !

Just chilling at the bar now watching the footy and looking forward to tomorrow. We head down to our project on sunday!
