Just arrived back from my wonderful trip to halong bay. Arrived sunday, lovlely cabin, had a nice meal for lunch,visited the cave, kayaking around the bay and finally a nice swim at a small cove. Back to the boat for dinner, few drinks and went to bed a very happy girl. Then at 1.30ish am...BED BUGS!!!!!!i was horrified! Got in the shower , had a good scrub and hairwash and spent the nite on the top deck..not a happy bunny. Monday was actually my best day of all though, so chilled out(mainly through lack of sleep) kayaking again, but through caves, alot of time spent chilling on board the boat as it sailed around, had a fab lunch, then off to another small cove which had just two people on it for swim time. Back on board the junk into my new, bug free cabin, checked by a knowledgable backpacker.. So now at least i know what im looking for!.. Dinner, drink, then bedtime.. Slept like a baby..and now back to hanoi for the night.. Up early tomorrow for my flight to ho chi min city
