1. I while away 6 long hours waiting for the flight to Amsterdam and buying expensive sandwiches, managing not to sleep.
2. I realize immediately I'm in Europe after ordering a medium latte in Starbucks and getting something around two thirds smaller than the American equivalent.
3. I arrive in the Dutch capital, pick up my car and suddenly enjoy driving my own four wheels again! Good to have it back!
4. I arrive on fumes of energy to Brussels, downing four coffees on the way. On to the planning of the next adventure!!!
