After a very pleasant and restful weekend we bad farewell to Cadet Mark's relatives in Denver and drove south to the city of Colorado Springs. There, we visited a peculiar collection of rocky formations known as "The Garden of the Gods". No safe landing zones here with all the irregular outcrops. Today we visited a archeological area called the Dinosaur Trail near to Denver. The fossilised tracks of various prehistoric creatures can be found here and some are highlighted in black to make it easier to see them amongst the rockface. After that we moved on up to a natural auditorium called "Red Rocks" which is a stadium built into a cliff face of, you guessed it, Red Rocks! Today we visited an Earth aircraft facility in Denver. The vessels were varied and fairly primitive compared to Star Command's Spacecraft. It was still interesting though and I got to see a commemorative display of one of my earlier Earth Cadets from back in the '60's - young Jack Swigert. He did well for himself, going on after my training to join the Apollo programme that first took earthlings out of their planetary orbit to visit their moon.

After the Devil's Tower landing site we moved on into South Dakota to check on the old Star Command Headquarter's site at Mount Rusmore. We sold it on to a Law Enforcement Squad called 'Team America' several years ago but the Space Ranger logo can still be seen in certain light at the right time of day, just before sunset.

Visited Star Command's secondary landing site today to check everything was in order. The weather was glorious and allowed for a full inspection. As you can see from my pictures my holographic welcome beacon was fully operational.
