Pretty much did nothing today, there isn't a great deal to do in Darwin and its so hot its hard to walk too far. This evening met up with some more people from our tour, had to say bye to a few of them. Managed to get ourselves a free meal again tonight as we had two more vouchers.

Actually got up quite early today as Robin thought it was earlier than it was! Spent the morning out in the sun reading and then had a cooked lunch at the hostel, the kitchen here is so busy so its easier to do it at lunchtime. After lunch we walked to Bicentenial Park and found another beach, very stoney though. This evening stayed in and watched a film also said our goodbyes to Gemma and Martyn who we met on our tour.

Had a nice lay in, had breakfast then had a little walk around Darwin. Its really nice here, it feels like a proper holiday town with all the bars and restaurants outisde. Found a beach along the way and also a deckchair cinema, it looked so cool with the huge screen and the big comfy deckchairs outside. Spent the afternoon sunbathing and went in the pool, really like it here.

Last day of tour today, first stop was at Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) where we spent half the day canoeing down the gorge. Was really nice although they told us there were crocodiles in there but we shouldn't be worried as they are only fresh water ones!! Next stop was at Edith Falls for lunch and a swim, quite a nice spot. Toinght we met up with everyone for a free meal and some drinks.

Left Banka Banka at 7ish had a massive day of driving ahead of us (800kms). Stopped for lunch at Daly Waters, the oldest pub in the Northern Territory absolutely boiling there luckily they had a pool so we could dip our feet in. Last stop of the day was at a thermal pool in Elsey National Park, water was around 27c really nice but smelt really bad as there were hundreds of bats sleeping above us.
