Today we got up fairly early as we were meeting the whole group to head off to a water park. There is not a great deal to do here so water park seemed the best option until when we arrived there we found the park shut for repair work, typical! luckily are group leader had a plan and we headed for another water park further away but wasn't quite as good but it was fun anyway. We got back at about 6ish and the lady who runs the hostel we are staying in prepared ...

Today we are having a lazy morning just having one last look around KL. We leave today at 2pm to head off to Melaka, luckily this journey should only be 2 hours.

Today we had a little lay in but got up in time for our free breakfast. We walked to the Petronas Towers and took some good photos, but we couldn't go up them as it is closed on a Monday, typical! We then walked to Times Square shopping mall, it was huge there was a theme park inside it! had a few goes on the rides and headed back on the monorail. This evening we went to China Town for dinner and had a look round the night market where we bought a few bargains.

Today we got up fairly early and left the Highlands around 11am. Journey was about 5 hours to KL by coach so not too bad. Arrived in KL at about 4pm hotel is nice, quite basic but it looks like we got the best room in the place! This evening we went to an Italian restaurant (robin was missing his pizza) then we headed up the communication tower to see KL lit up at night, fantastic view.

Today we met up for a trip up to the highest point of Malaysia, the guide said it was 2000 metres but my GPS said it was 2032 so they were almost right! We then went on a jungle walk through the mossy forest, we got covered in mud was great fun though. On the wat back we stopped off at a tea plant and a butterfly centre which had alsorts of interesting insects. Tonight we are meeting up to have the famous Steamboat for tea, not too sure what it is yet but will...
