It was a slow day today, but a good day.
We started it badly by having to complain about our Internet service as it kept dropping out and then we were unable to login at all. After more than an hour it finally started to work. So we were able to talk to Phill and Roxanne and Aeysha.
After breakfast we headed out for the Holocaust Museum, which was good to see but left us incredibly sad and melancholy. The attempted genocide by the Hitler regime was an atrocity that can never again be allowed to happen again. Never!
More than 6 million Jews were murdered because of a ideology that thought it was superior to all other men.
I am thankful for a loving God who teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves, if only it was like this all over the world.
After the Museum we headed down town for a wander around the old city to gather some information but found that the info place was closed, but the Lord had other ideas, we stopped in the Christ Church cafe for a cool drink and met a young woman, Catherine. Catherine gave us directions to the church at 5pm, and then we sat and listened as she poured out her heart for Israel and the emotional strain of being a volunteer in Israel.
Please pray for Catherine, for His grace and strength to be hers in abundance, and that her passion for Jews will bear fruit.
Around 4:30pm we started walking toward the church, we arrived about 5 minutes late but had a great time of worship with hundreds of other Christians. Thank the Lord for this time.
And then it was time to head out for the motel, diner and bed! Tomorrow is another day!!
