Hello, We finally have arrived, sorry for the delay but we had to postpone the trip due to unforseen circumstances back home. The Bogus Journey began on 10th October.

 We spent 2 days in Dubai, the first day just went to the beach and chilled out there wasn't much to do as 'Ramadam' a religous festival which lasts month was taking place. All the shops, restaurants and cafes were closed and we were strongly advised not to eat, drink or smoke in public places only in the hotel. I have to admit I found a Mcdonalds only open for drive through so got a meal and sneaked it into my bag and slyly ate it on the beach. I had to look over my shoulder all the time coz some girls had been told by the beach police to get rid of there drinks. The second day was way better as we went to The Wild Wadi Water Park which was situated right next the 7* Hotel on the Beach which is very impressive we have decided next time we visit Dubai thats where we are checking in!!!! Had loads of fun in the park was there for 7 hours, also the Ramadam rules were not in force so got right amongst the food and drink!!! Went on a slide that was 27m tall and goes up to speeds of 80 kpm (very fast) had the biggest wedgey of my life!!

Arrived in Delhi this morning, was met by a small boy who drove us to the hotel in an old banged out white van how we survived the journey I will never know. There is no lanes in the road its everyone for themselves. I was amazed when we arrived in the town and he turned down a small muddy market street full of people, yet again he weaved his way through and we arrived in 1 piece to be met by beggers. The hotel is situated in a skinney alley, its very basic and I am so glad we bought our sleeping bag liners coz if you could see the sheets and pillow cases on the bed you would rather sleep on the floor. We are hopefully going to have a look down the market street next to our hotel after sending this. We have never felt so alien in all our lives this place really is something else.
