Looks like you are enjoying the big apple, its a great city! Hope you like the hotel, can't believe its the same one as we stayed in. Make sure you visit Smithys Cafe over the road, really good food. Also, get to MacSauleys, in the Village, its reportedly the oldest pub in NYC and when we went there it was spot on. Ged was ill after that...
As I write this you will be with is in sunny Southern California in 5 weeks to the day, can't believe it has come round so quickly so ENJOY every minute, and take lots of photos so we can all be jealous. There will be a hot spa, cold beers (and coke for Jill), meat on the BBQ and a comfy bed waiting for you when you come "West Side". Can't wait to see you both. Neat web page - your Dad gave us the details. Good itinerary but I doubt you will need to spend long in Germany! Have you not forgotten to visit the real wonder of the world though? (Clue: it's about 300miles due north of your present location). Good luck!!!
