Just to let you know its Andy's ((((BIG 30th Birthday)))) on Friday, we have asked all the other departments in chesterfield if they would like to come out and celebrate the night with Andy and had a massive uptake of Me, Cliff & Steve J. (even Will cant make it). Enjoy your Trip.

Have managed to find i/n here in our hotel, Crete & if U get this we sused out instructs out! Think it will be warmer here than in Whistler & Jasper; beware the bears they are more dangerous than the whales. Don't stand & watch them - drive on! Hotel & food excellent & will write later! Vancouver looks amazing and your tales of east coast USA (and walking miles in the heat!) really brought back memories....Trust you Jill to give yourself a black eye...always in the wars...Craig make sure you do keep her wrapped up in cotton wool she is a delicate soul! So so so jealous but so happy for you - you are having the time of your lives!
Beano says G'day (he's totally assimilated to the Aussie life now) You will be pleased to know he has not changed much though and has escaped 4 times in the last 3 weeks...once from the neighbours house too causing panic and once another neighbour found him in the creek...the bloody fool will get eaten by a crocodile or a snake! (We have temporary fencing up at moment while our pool is being built and to this escape artist that is an easy ride!) Anyway keep up the good work with this site it is great! xxxxxx

I agree with Ben, it seems Sctman John has arisen from the grave to wish you well. I think it was Ben as I know he knows all the words! Its Sept 21st today so I guess you must be in Canada somewhere. We had a massive thunderstorn in California yesterday but its sunny and hot again, hopefully the sun will be out to greet you when you get here. At least a bottle of "Sol" will be. All the photos are great, when you get to ours you are welcome to download them all from your memory cards and put them on CDs to send to all us envious folks around the world. Anyway, glad to hear that you have completed the first leg of your "World Tour" unscathed by the hustle and bustle of NY (wait 'till you get to Las Vegas!). Have you shaved your head yet Craig, we are scrutenising every photograph for evidence, maybe it's not warm enough yet eh? Have you put any weight on with all those McD's and Cheesey steak thingy bob's I recon I would have, maybe all that walking will ballance things out ! Where are you planning on visiting in Canada then ? I guess you will probably have told me at some point, but I can't remember so maybe drop us an email. Keep up the good work with the online travel diary, some of the photos are great (and very arty too!) and I am updating my desktop wallpaper with them daily, the guys in my office keep asking "where are they today then?" very jealous that you are living your dream and to the max by the look of it: Helicopter rides and all. We could really use some 95 degree wall to wall blue sky and sunshine over here. Hope you are remembering to moisturise, we don't want you coming back all tanned and wrinkly, though if you carry on eating McDs everyday you'll be tanned and supersized. Keep the photo's coming. I still haven't seen any good hills worth running round.

So the weather is taking a turn towards the cooler side which is just like 'ere where we hit 7C last night & this morning with a chill north wind! I wonder how luxurious the trains are & whether they suffer from leaves on the line! These taxes - who invented them anyway & I am sure that they not only contributed to the Indy but also the civil one 2!
My 'ead is still bouncing after the pneumatic drilling concrete next door & it looks like roof will be off next from garage and then foundations to be dug. I hope they have a mechanical digger since you will recall the fun I hda with the sandstone.
Trying to be serious but @ this time it is difficult cos I is still shivering in the this big library room. I have just collected my bus pass so that is another step down the ageing path.
