Sorry that I've been so out of touch everyone! My tour has started and its been pretty crazy so far. I met up with Katie for the past few days and we had an awesome time hanging out around the Sydney and now I'm in Byron Bay. Everyone on the tour seems pretty friendly but not as social as I thought everyone would be. There's a good chunk of people too, oh well, two weeks will make us all get closer eventually. In my last few days of Sydney, I rode the ferry and went to the Taronga Zoo by myself then met with Katie and went to Bondi Beach and then a few bars at night, good times. The first day of the tour, we went wine tasting in Hunter Valley which was pretty fun, I think I like wine now, and went to these lakes which were beautiful if it wasn't as cold as it was. Today we've just been driving to Byron Bay, just got in, and me and a few people are just going into town to get something to eat and have a drink or two. Tomorrow I'm going kayaking around the reefs and with dolphins, yay! and then the next day, surfing lessons for me. I'm excited about the rest of the trip so I'll fill you guys in as much as I can.
