I'm back!! Sorry I've not left any messages/postcards in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully I've remedied that now. As for the rest of you out there - what's your excuse? I'd love to hear from you. As for me, it's been a case of problems getting onto my email/ being stuck in the wilderness far from computers/ being too tired & busy when we get to towns/ being too tight to pay over NZ$6 (2pounds) per hour when it's only $2 here in Auckland.
To get up to date:
To my nephew Peter: Thanks for your message. I think the animal you refer to is a Hyrax. It sounds like you are going to have lots of fresh eggs if Tom and Joseph are getting chickens for their birthdays!
To Benji; good to hear from you. Would email a personal message if I had your address (drop me a line at my btinternet address).
To Tom and Peter; I have lots more animal photos which I should get on the site soon. Have you got my postcards?
To Mum (and Dad if his computer lessons are progressing well); I'm safe and well!! Hope your new car is going well.
To the Perkins lads: .....just happened to be in Auckland today when the NZ team played the Aussies in a Twenty/20 game and tickets were less than 10 pounds! A bargain not to be missed.
A new postcard added today. Will now try to upload the photos.
Keep in touch.
Mum

Watcha Ben! All well here. Glad you've been displaying your cricketing prowess to the global public - I'll give you some tips on throwing the ball in next time we meet, as I clearly have the biggest arm in the club. If you don't believe me, ask Shane, he's taught me all he knows ...

God Ben! We wondered why strangers were answering your Shrewsbury numbers. Delighted to hear all is well and you're having an adventure. We'll be keeping track of you from now on. Lots of love,

Ben, Pleased you have made it to NZ. We have been twice and longing to go again. Now you have your walking boots you must take a hike up Mount Mauganui, just east of a place called Tauranga. Big harbour but splendid beaches. The Mount is a bit of a climb but worth it for the views at the top are great. All the best. Grace
