Back in Brunei after having a lovely 2 and half weeks in the UK with my wonderful family and friends. OK so actually that was over a month ago now but finally getting a spare minute to update my blog!
Over the holiday i met my gorgeous new niece Emily Jane who was just 3 weeks old when i got to meet her. I had forgotten how small babies are! Especially as my other equally as gorgeous niece Katie has grown in size and personality so much since i last saw her in September! I miss them all so much but it was lovely to see them all.
What else did i cram in while i was home.... I had a great Brookes Christmas party with my friends and colleagues from there, we went to Oxford Golf club we have for the last 3 years, but thankfully this year i did not nearly get snowed it at Terrie's and it didn't take 4.5 hours to get home on the Saturday morning! However it did take slightly longer than it should have done as my mum had to go to Abingdon via Banbury A & E as dad slipped over and really hurt his shoulder (nearly 5 weeks ago and it's still really bad!!)
I caught up with all my friends and family over the break which was really nice and talked to them all about my next big decision, which is whether i should stay on in Brunei for another contract (2 years) or leave and either go back to the UK or somewhere else. I have until Tuesday 31st Jan to make my final decision (contract signing deadline) so watch this space........who knows!!!
As for 2012 what a lot to look forward to! Another 2 terms left for this school year which is full of swim meets and synchro displays! (Well one definite which was on the 15th of Jan and went sooo well i nearly cried i was so proud of my little team!!). Tracey is coming to visit again in March - Langkawi and the Malaysian Grand Prix - very exciting! And well i expect a couple of trips to Miri and who knows what else! Then in the summer its OLYMPIC time!! Yes mum and I have tickets to the synchronised swimming finals and medal ceremony which is very very exciting!!!!
Keep reading for more exciting tales of Brunei and Beyond!
