Arrive in Guymon, OK. Corral Drive In RV Park We will stay July 12 & 13, 2012. We can't wait to watch whatever movie is playing at the Drive In. It's why we picked this park over any other park.

We have arrived in Guymon, OK. We are at the Corral Drive in RV Park. So far we arrived, got set up and have eaten. We ate at Braum's ice cream shop. The hamburgers were great. But we were so full that we couldn't eat any ice cream. Maybe tomorrow. This is a nice RV park. We'll be able to see the movies from our RV. We will be watching The Three Stooges and Ice Age 4. They'll even deliver our pizza to our RV!
Since the dogs had to be walked we went to the Thompson Park. It's HUGE. There's a huge lake with paddle boats. You can fish, and walk all the way around it. There are ducks to feed, and playgrounds for the kids. It's right next to the Guymon, OK golf course. It's about 3 am. This is the first time it's been cool enough outside for the airconditioner to shut off. It has been 90 degrees or above this whole trip, until now. July 13, 2012 Just a little more information. The showers here at the park are beautiful and clean. So is the new laundry room with 2 washers and dryers. I can't believe I didn't mention. The family and staff that run this place are wonder. We of course have our favorite, Jake. We are waiting for the movie to start. We can see it right from our RV. We did buy a snow cone from Jake. He's using the money from this to buy a car once he's old enough. The snow cone was pretty good. It appears to be firefighter night. The drive in area is full of firefighters. This place has been hopping since they opened at 5pm. You come in early to eat the delicious food and play horse shoes. Then about 9:30 it will be dark enough for the movie to start. We managed to stay awake just for the Ice Age movie. But it was wonderful being at a drive in movie again. If you're in the area you'll want to check it out. If we are in the area again we will stay here.
