Final Thoughts
There is much to mull over and not all my thoughts are easily determined. We have seen so much in terms of both the touristy places but more importantly, the people, and the places and the society in which they live. What I have seen much has often left many questions that I cannot so far answer. But maybe that is the an…

re: WaterfallJenny Have bought your baseball hat with Cambodia on it, hope it's OK - beige - in case your're buying a range of colours. If I don't speak to you have a good journey home.
re: Buon Ma Thuot, Vietname.morley Coincidentally, I've been (re-?)appreciating roads lately! Have you heard much about the American mid-terms there? Seems like Obama will take a pasting. E xx

re: Easy RidersJenny saw her cavalcade race through SR on Sun afternoon, many vehicles, trucks full of police and four identical armour plated white venicles, so have no idea which was hers. A local told me it was the presdient of the US. How she must wish that were true. It was strange to see SR motley collection of traffic stopped by policew but some were ignoring them. I just happened to be there. Just back from wedding feast, a memorable experience. Buon ma Thuot airport was interesting when I flew out of it. enjoy, J
re: Buon Ma Thuot, VietnamJenny I loved Hoi An it was where I had the massage, threading, pedicuree etc in the depth of the local market. It was very hot then and I enjoyed the cycling to the beach. Interesting to hear that the hotels have been completed as all was at a stand still last year. Cold improving and cough does not seem to worsening. Lots seem to be happening in last week, so need to shop this weekend. Have just been asked to give an English lesson to some guys, but have yet to make the decision. Hot here with late afternoon downpour. Enjoy, J
re: Hoi An, VietnamE. Morley Many thanks, Jon. Interesting to compare/contrast with European efforts not to forget genocide. Have a good week. Elaine

re: Water flowers at dawnTom Sutton Hi Jon & Meryl Glad you are enjoying(?) your trip. I found your description of Siem Deap intriguing and very informative. Excellent photos from Bangkok, they reminded me so much of the time Verna and I spent there, especially the river scenes, which are simply unforgettable. On a more prosaic note, I hope you had access to Sky Sports for the Monday Ryder Cup singles. Let me know if not as I have recorded the highlights show and can keep it for you. If I can work out how to use the DVD-Recorder I might even be able to write to disk! Please give our love and best wishes to Jenny. Take care. Tom
