Happy Diwali!! It's the start of Diwali in India today, apparently a lot of Goa is actually Christian so they don't all celebrate so we weren't sure what exactly would be going on if much at all today. We decided that we would go out for tea later on tonight so we went for a long walk along the beach so that we could get back to the hotel in the afternoon. After breakfast we went straight to the poolside and went for a swim. Later on in the day we decided to go for an explore of Anjuna to see what was about and to find our next place we will be staying. We found it, it's not too far so we will be walking with our packs on Thursday after we check out. We were moving again today, not going very far, just to the next town along called Anjuna. Check out was at noon and then check in at the next place was at 2.30. It was only going to take a 10 minute taxi ride to get there so we checked out of Asterix and then just chilled out downstairs where they have beanbags, cushions and mattresses where people can use the wifi. We have just had a beach day today, while we were in the beach a lady selling jewellery came to talk to us. She started off by saying I was so white I looked like a chicken! That was nice of her! We headed back early as we could feel the heat of the sun and we have to pack our bags later today as we are moving on tomorrow.

Well I woke up to some noise outside this morning then looked over to James, there was a big lizard right next to him. I told him and woke him up then realised it was on the INSIDE of the mosquito net! He moved quite quickly!
