Hi all, well here I am, in Thailand.

My first entry so bare with me...landed in Bangkok then took a 1 1/2 hour taxi south to Pattaya and met up with an Dave Stemp (an old army buddy not seen 18 yrs). Its 30 degrees and the very weather you all don't want to hear about! A very busy resort, lots of Vietnam Vets, old purvs and young Thai ladies...swore I sore a young thai looking Johnny Weston!?

28hrs and we left for Bangkok, quick look down Khao San Road, then hoped on another bus to Chumphon. This is where I am now, 6 hrs south of Bangkok. Dave has gone for a Visa renewal across to Burma, whilst I explore and mail you! Off to Koh Tao in the morning...
