Salta was just hell off a piss-up! too many Irish staying at our hostal....Non stop drinking and little else. Lots of photos and memories. (so behind with these blogs)

This was just a huge journey to get north. 11 hrs to Calama from Salta then another 13 to Arica in the north of Chile. Chilled for 2 days then into la Paz again.... A few days in la Paz where we bumped back into the Cork lads in Loki. Needless to say more ale was supped. Cusco Peru here we come....

This place gets some write up...But we never felt the love really! Perhaps only having 3 days in the city. The beaches are said to be lovely. But hey, we had a giggle, even from the start...booked a ferry from BA to Montevideo and ended up in Colonia del Sacramento...way short! So spent a night there anyway. Its a pretty city, but not a patch on BA...so lets return.

Well, In another Capital. This place was a mixed bag for me...Met a cool guy whom took me skydiving, we ended up renting an apartment form him. Met back up with Paul. Got robbed at the infamous Retiro Bus Terminal (200 thefts a day) My insurance ran out 12 days before!!Spent Xmas eve at the races, with friends Xmas day (made Xmas dinner) and Paul Van Dyke for New Years Eve. This is one Beautiful and happening city. The people are sooo friendly. North now to Sal...

Another great location. Loving Argentina....Great steaks, soooo cheap around 2 pounds, you can have anyway you want as long as its rare to medium!! Great wine tasting (Lopez) A beautiful hostal DamaJuana, met some great people. Next stop....Buenos Aires
