We left Copacabana for La Paz around 12pm. A 4 hr journey and ferry with some cool music from some rustic travellers,(see video) then a short cut down the worst road in La Paz...followed by lunch in the Terminal De Buses, before boarding our 12 hr bus to Sucre.
We found ourselves a hostel (Charras) as soon as we arrived. Squared our kit away and headed out to grab some breakfast, Sucre seemed a really nice place chilled and relaxed we had a wander around in the morning the square is really pretty has some lovely buildings around.

Graham and Paul decided to go and visit the dinosaur footprints that had been discovered some years back in a cement quarry. 20 pence saved according to paul but graham wasn´t having any of it...lol.

We just chilled in Sucre for a few days.
Enjoyed the festival (see videos). Shopped for gifts for the family and chilled in the square. Graham was ill so we took him back some medicine. Unfortunately Graham got really sick and was bed ridden for a few days till finally we had to take him to the local hospital. What a joke! We took him in, well Paul wasn't allowed in. Before they would treat him I would have to pay to register him, then pay for a consultation, then buy drugs and drips, then a blood test all before they would care for him! (it wouldn´t happen in middle earth eh hobbit!)thankfully he was ok after being put on a drip. you owe me a beer hobbit! lol.

So we lost a few days so instead of getting the bus to Santa Cruz we flew instead, around an hour. Once we landed in Santa Cruz we headed to Samapiata by taxi.
