Welcome to our first ever blog entry. We hope that this blog will help us keep in touch with our family and friends while we are away.

It's only 12 days until we fly out (ash cloud permitting)! Our to-do list is slowly getting shorter. We're starting to get excited and nervous now.

You can check out our planned itinerary on our profile (although our 5 weeks of driving / camping through Western Europe may change ... if we like somewhere we'll stay longer, if we don't we'll carry on).

We bought a new camera for our travels so spent some time today playing around with apeture and shutter speed settings. Great fun
