Here we are in a small park just past Scottsdale. Beautiful scenery and the photois the view from at the top of the mountain.

We left Devonport this morning after a very windy night! We needed to shop for food and we needed a new part for the gas stove which had started leaking. Got the shopping done and then headex for Launceston. It is a very old city. We didn't stay long here as we wanted to find a place for the night. So off we set for scottsdale-avery pretty town and we hope to get back to have a really look at it.

The drive here was over mountains so it was very steep in places and winding around all the time-couldn't drive to fast on these roads! The country is very dry and brown in areas but is still beautuful.

It is a bit chilly tonight and Ian has just told me that it is going to be only 11deg tomorrow morning and apparently raining.Just as well we brought our winter clothes!
