We made it to Williams on the 29th and stayed at the Love's truck stop. It was a travel day so I love saving money on those days with a free overnight stay.
We were sure surprised to wake up the next morning covered in snow. It was just a fluke in the weather because the weather has been perfect since.
We are staying at the Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in Williams. This has been a perfect base camp area with the little town of Williams within walking distance. We loved that they honored Passport America which made our nightly rate $22.
We drove the Jeep to the GC. I have to say the park service has made it easy to get around the park. They have a great shuttle service that goes everywhere. They will drive you to all the rim sites, camp sites, restaurants, campground and hotels. Couldn't ask for anything more.
We went to Bearizona a cute animal park. Little kids would love this place and the price is $20 for adults.
Now I'm bored and ready to move on. I've seen the sites, hiked and have ridden my bike.
Brenda's ready to move on down the road :)
