Have left Rockingham after having met a lot of wonderful people. Up at 2:40 (yes, I did manage to crawl out of bed that early), and off to the Perth airport to catch the 6:10 flight to Melbourne, and then on to Hobart. The Rockingham airport was colored purple and white everywhere - one of the local football teams was off to the national finals. The Freeport Dockers have only been in the league for 10 years, and this is the first year they've made it to the finals. "Everyone" is excited about the big game. So much for any hope of finding a couple of empty seats together and stretching out a bit as I grab a nap!

Off on a whirl wind of stops and travel now.
