Waking up to a hot humid morning in Miami we grabbed a sugar overloaded breakfast of chocolate pancakes and hit the beach to cool off.

After a couple of hours of swimming in the bright green Carribean water the weather changed and it clouded over so this was our queue to go for lunch at one of the cafes along the beach. After a nice healthy lunch we walked the strip checking out shops before deciding it was time for a mega huge cocktail which included two coronas. Brett and I got one each which was a big mistake as we couldn't finish them...We got through three quarters of each of them before giving up and retiring to lay under the palm trees and read before heading back to the hostel for a siesta.

That evening we got dressed and went out for a nice seafood dinner along the beach. We then went for a nice long walk along the beach and past the main shopping street back to the hostel.

For our last full day in Miami we decided to do a Duck Tour of Miami which takes you to all the big sites including a couple of islands. After yet another sugar overloaded breakfast we took a nice long walk down the shopping strip to pick up our tickets for the tour. We then explored the outside shopping more and grabbed some lunch before jumping on our bus/boat.

The Duck Tour was a lot of fun! We went past some famous shops including the tattoo parlor Miami Ink was filmed in and Dash clothing store which the Kardashians own. We then went over to the mainland where we turned from a bus into a boat and cruised around the island where all the rich live. We went past P Diddy's mansion which you could hardly see, Andre Agassi's house, Gloria Estefan's mansion, the owner of Levi's and many more. After the boat tour we then drove past the city and port which is the largest cruise ship port in the world. We then went back over to the island and went along South Beach where we were showed the hotel the movie The Birdcage was filmed in and the beautiful hotel Gianni Versace owned and was assassinated outside of in 1997. The tour then finished and we walked the length of the beach before going for a dip and relaxing on the sand till the early evening.

As it was Friday night it was time to get our drink on for our final night in Miami so we had another steak with drinks for dinner and hit Mangos for some Cabaret and dancing. This night turned out to be really fun and a great place to go as the entertainment all night long was fantastic with loads of different Latin and Cuban dancers and singers. There was definitely an abundance of big bums and fake boobs everywhere not to mention all the pimp daddy's around, very typically Miami in that sense but it was a great night and a nice way to end our time there!
