Nha Trang - our forth stop in Vietnam after 2 weeks of traveling around we decided it would be a good idea to chill out somewhere with beach and bit of night life, so we followed the lonely planet advice and headed to Nha Trang the beach capital of Vietnam...
Nha Trang is a lot different to anywhere else we had been in Vietnam so far, mainly because there was lots of ex pats there, most of which were working for various dive shops, apparently off the coast and around the little islands there is some good and very popular dive spots.
in the evenings Nha Trang livened up with clubs and bars all lit up, touts trying to drag you in for free shots and all the usual stuff a tourist beach normally offers, which was quite cool. There also was some nice restaurants where you did not get any hassle from locals selling postcards or paintings, so had a few quite nights as well as drinking all night. we enjoyed our time there, relaxing on beach, around a bar which had a pool, one day decided to cycle to the giant buddah on a hill, was pretty amazing, the fact that it was bout 50ft tall, and made out of one stone!?
