Today was another amazing days driving. The scenery never ceases to amaze. Gerry makes sure we take the scenic routes rather than the highways. We pass through so really cool old towns. Well i thought we had driven on along some pretty scenic roads. The road from Redding to the west coast is just unbelievable. The scenery is just superb. We follow a river with many rapids, plus the many shades of green from the forest that lines the road. Breathtaking stuff. Finally we cross the state line and enter California. We stop off to visit Lake Tahoe. Its ever so nice. Pristine emerald and blue water surrounded by pine trees. What a beautiful place. These mountain roads are something else, with scenery that is just breathtaking. We dont get into Redding till after 7pm, and find this really nice RV park off the highway and out of town. The drive from Heber to Fallon is long but rewarding. The views are just brilliant. Still getting rain as we cross the mountains heading west. No accidents on the road today. Slept ok last night, with all things considered. When i woke up and went to have a shower it was just 2 degrees, yet i didnt feel cold. 23rd Its a long drive from Breckenridge to Heber City, Utah. There is some pretty nice scenery along the way, plus lots of rain and storms. This is the wettest month in history for Utah.
