We arrive in Estes park early in the afternoon. The drive form Rawlins to here was only a few hours. We check in to the camp grounds, drop the trailer and head into the Rocky mountains national park. Its not long after the entrance that we come across some male elk's. Their antlers are covered in velvet and look so cool up close. We have now left the magnificent scenery of the mountains, and are now driving across the prairie with not much to see. We are going to spend the night in Rawlins. It here we meet a few interesting characters and spend some time conversing with them. Lots of cute little cotton bunnies wandering around the camp ground. Looks like we have a nice night here in Rawlins, as it can be one very windy place.

We start the day by driving through Yellowstone NP. It doesnt have that wow factor like crater or glacier. Anyway we get to see some more bison and some nice scenery. Tthe drive from Helena to West Yellowstone is only a few hours. But it is a stunning drive through very green forests. We arrive in West Yellowstone to be greeted by a massive thunderstorm. I get very we attempting to cook tea in the rain. The rv park has a nice lounge so we are able to eat tea there and dry off. After a great night of camping we are off to see more of glacier np. This time we are on the east side of glacier. We stop to get a picture of the mountains with the perfect reflection from a lake. Within 5 minutes the reflection is gone as the wind has picked up a little. We were so lucky. Some of the mountain views in this part are some of the best i have ever scene, utterly breathtaking.
