Sunday 1st July

Set off from home at 4am - to hopefully catch a flight at 7.30.

Yay- volcano has ceased erupting - fog dissipating - all systems go - lift off around 8. Arrived Denpasar 12.30 - picked up by Villa Elleo driver.

Greeted warmly by managers of Villa - settled in. Off for a walk to find lunch and a supermarket for provisions.

Tried to wait up for kids to arrive - but early start had got to me and crashed.

Monday 2nd July

Slept in - then brekky which was excellent- fruit, eggs, coffee - yay.

Then headed out with driver - first stop -homewares store - may find something for the house. Then lunch at "Old Man's" - funky cafe commenced several years ago by an Aussie ( since sold by him for a motza). Near the Butong Beach surf area.

Then we headed to Tanah Lot Temple. A 16th century temple built on a rock in the sea - the temple pays homage to the guardian spirits of the sea.

Then back to the Villa - swim, dinner and bed. All worn out.
