woohoo we´ve caught up with ourselves and we can actually write im real time. we arer in valancia. its gorgeous and boiling but sadly we´re leaving tomorrow (we only got here yesterday).

we´re staying in a brilliant youth hostel called the purple nest. its in an amazing old listed bulding with proper old style spanish floor tiles but its been done up in bright colours with ikea furniture. its got a bar, a pool table, a terrace loads of computers, the best shower ive ever had... its really quite dissapointing we´re leaving.

today we went to the oceanografico (aquarium). we walked through the park to get there. not just any park though, its a huge dried up river bed with an orange grove and a big slide complex thing for kids, big fountains, big football pitches. its amazing and it stretches pretty much the length of the city.

the aquarium was SO GOOD!!! there was a dolphinarium (videos coning soon) and a whale, and sharks, and 70 metres of underwater tunnels, and 2 narcoleptic sealions. its worth a trip to valencia.

we´ve now been on the computer for about 3 hours trying to figure out how to get to our next destination, granada.
