Hey everyone..As i'm now back in the UK, I guess this message is more for Australia and its patriots!.. Been home a week now.. and it's rubbish! Weather is...er... rain.. rain and more rain. Not a beach or BBQ in site!.. suppose I had to expect it - great to see everyone again though. There's a few new pics on from Dubai on the way home (what a crazy experience!) and last few days on OZ.On the job hunt now.. gotta start living in the real world! Anyway, to all those still there.. hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, and keep in touch!.. You never know I might be back before you know it!Liana - I miss you. For me, it's you. 'Dreams only end when you stop chasing them'.Take care all. It's been amazing.Paul.

Happy New Year everyone!Hope you all had a good one. Thanks for the messages Tess and H, H your messages never fail to impress! Loads of new pics on from over Christmas and New Year. Was a good one here.. although the weather was pretty crap Christmas Day.. a pullover tempting 17 degrees!.. Went to the Boxing Day Ashes Test and saw Warney bank his 700th test wicket.. pretty cool. Then went on holiday on the 27th with Lianas family to a place called Barwon Heads, on the coast about 90 mins away. Awesome place. Liana's cousin came with his boat - an avid fisherman, and I caught 16 fish over the 10 days - Not bad for my first time . Out on the open ocean with a beer in one hand and a rod in other - Can't be beat! Hammered the beach cricket too.. and I can see why we're s*** and the Aussies are good - everyone plays it! Every 100 metres there's another make-shift cricket pitch in the sand. Theres some pretty special pictures in there of us surf fishing from the beach at sunset - you'll have to take a look.Still playing a lot of golf, even had a lesson from a pro last week - wanna give the boys a game in Marbella on the stag do!Weathers been too hot at times - hottest day last week topped about 43 degrees, too hot to do anything but sweat and drink . Not working now.. did my last day on the 23rd.. that was good though - an Australian bank hired the entire venue for a Christmas party so we had about 800 guests in. But yeah just kicking back now and enjoying my last stint here.. flights are booked to come home.. not saying when though! Stopping in Dubai for a day then straight to Manchester with Emirates. Not looking forward to it to be honest - my mums already got me booked in at the job centre! - Obviously can't wait to see everyone again but Bolton just doesn't quite compare to Melbourne!Probably be on again before I leave Aus so have a look at the pics!See you all soon.Paul

Dad said that he wouldnt mind picking you up from heathrow when you come home (keeping in mind he was quite pissed at the time) but im sure if you gave him enough notice we could sort something out. Hi guys.Well back in one piece. Not sure it got much coverage in the UK but there was a coup in Fiji whilst we were there.. funny! Didn't see an AK47 though unfortunately. Had a great time all the same. Islands were as you'd imagine. Two were pretty laid back and quiet, one had a bit more going on and one was labelled as the party island of Fiji. Not many mishaps, oh apart from being stung by a stingray!.. no sh*t! Stood on it coming back to shore after snorkelling - in the heel. Pretty painful. Had to walk like a poof for a couple of days. Oh and had the two bob bits for a couple of days too, dodgy food at the 2nd resort!.. Weather was mostly good.. too hot at times couldn't lie in it! Stayed in some really nice rooms though.. had a nice little cottage over the beach at one place with the sun rising in the door, that was pretty cool!.. did a bit of scuba diving and stuff.. fish were really cool and the reef was amazing. Anyways, take a look at the pics! Got a few underwater pics to put on too so keep looking! As for back in Oz.. it's all a bit weird. Helped Liana put the Christmas tree up the other day, in 30 degree heat! Can't get my head round it. Should be freezing cold and dark at 4! (not complaining though). What else, went to see Robbie Williams last night in Melbourne, was a good gig - will get those pics on soon. Not too much planned over Christmas.. gonna spend it playing backyard cricket probably at Lianas with a few bevvies . Going to watch the ashes on Boxing day (although not much to play for now!!), and going to the coast for a week with Liana's family between Christmas and New Year. Then it'll all be over soon after that.. planning to get back to Blighty in Feb. Don't wanna think about it yet though just wanna enjoy Christmas!!Anyway, gonna get off to bed. If I don't leave another message before.. hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year!Take carePaul
