Twenty-four hours into our stay at Villa Maju and we are in heaven. After a late start, some later than others, it was a day of luxuriating and lounging; P & K have undergone an indulgent simultaneous Thai massage with limbs and digits pulled out of sockets. Believe it or not, Penny swam 30 lengths of the crystal blue pool: Kate has promised lessons on technique tomorrow (the lengths took me two hours on a lilo)... Madame Deborah, our leader, is planning visits to the chicest locations. If we can energise ourselves to leave the premises...
