'lost civilisations in the jungle'

Visiting angkor wat temples in cambodia- which are amazing. took a dodgey bus from bangkok, which in total took about 12 hours. the road from the thai border to siem reap is mental- with huge potholes and generally very bumpy. the poverty of rural cambodia is quite apparent- and at angkor wat there are lots of beggar kids, who are either trying to sell u something or just wanting money (and at the thai border). the kids are unbelievably persistant- but when u get talking to them (they all have excelent english- it helps with the sales) they are just nice kids. get taken round all the angkor temples on the back of a motorbike, its the only real way to get around in cambodia, and get some cracking photos of all the temples.
