BEST ZOO EVER.

Now I'm a big fan of zoos. I love London zoo. But Australia zoo is a whole other story. It was absolutely great.
I saw Tasmanian devils, (which are so fast, but look nothing like Taz) as well as dingoes, kangaroos and koalas. All of which were animals I don't think I had ever seen before which was amazing.
As well as these animals, we saw tigers, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, snakes and all the usual animals you see at the zoo.
Australia zoo has a strong connection to Steve Irwin and his family as I think they owned it, and has a strong belief in conservation and education - so by learning more about the animals we can help prevent extinction of them. It was a zoo with a lovely message and all the zookeepers seemed to love their jobs and really care about the animals- it was lovely to see. Obviously as Steve Irwin was major part of the zoo, there was a crocodile show, which was fantastic and showed the skill of the crocodile team at the zoo.

You can see why it was such a lovely zoo. But that is besides the point - it's the best zoo ever because I FED A KANGAROO AND HELD A KOALA.
It was fantastic.
The kangaroos and the wallabies are in this walk through area so you can just buy food and you can feed the animals. It's a more amazing version of Odds Farm.
