Boarding our first flight at o'dark thirty. Why do planes leave so early? Had a challenging weekend with Suki, our oldest Siamese. She decided to stop eating Saturday. A trip to the emergency vet found no specific cause, so we're guessing it's stress. Seems better today. Those kids & pets!

Back home again, safe & sound. We both dreamt of hills, trains, & wonderful food, as we tried to get back on US time. Time to catch up on email, do the chores & make friends with the cats again. Suki's been giving us a piece of her mind all day & the other two are keeping their eyes on us. This weekend we start shopping for an espresso machine & planning our next trip!

We're finally beginning our adventure! At the Boise airport & David is having his first lunch. Of course, it's only 10:20am, but it's lunch time somewhere!

Well, just finished grading for the semester & now have the weekend to do the packing dry-run. It's not going to easy, as we'll have just a roller bag & shoulder bag each for two weeks! A particular challenge will be those extra shoes - darn!
