I woke up and the morning sun was trying to break through my window. Next, we had lovely warm croissants for breakfast, followed by a snack of French bread. I had to do a week's worth of journal and got rewarded by going for a cycle. The cycle was lovely. We were by the sea and there were wonderful views. When we arrived at the beach, I could pick an ice cream from the mouth-watering selection. I chose a white chocolate with chocolate drops (it was delicious)...

Halloween at Port Aventura......with half of Spain! We knew from the last few days that Halloween was going to be a big celebration but we were also hoping that it would start late and we could enjoy a quiet theme park before the crowds arrived for the evening - ha ha ha.... it was so busy - even at 10am!! The queues were ridiculous but luckily for us as M&D were too short for most of the really scary rides the ones we were queueing for were not too bad and...

Headed into Barcelona again today and went straight to the Open Camp experience at the Olympic park - lots of fun trying out the different sports in the stadium and at the different venues around the site. Always competitive but I think the most hilarious was actually the competitive commentating - who could shout the loudest and for the longest....a very difficult one to judge! We had planned to then visit the Poble Espanyol but as the queues were really long ...

Another day at the campsite today but with a Halloween theme...this morning was spent making Halloween costumes out of recyclable materials before a sunny afternoon at the pool and a fancy dress costume show this evening where family Banks did ok against other much more prepared families who had obviously done this before - and perhaps even spent most of the year preparing!! Well done to the winners and for M,D and R for trying - we will know what to expect now ...

Lazy day at the campsite today - some football, some tennis, some sitting by the pool and lots of waterslides with new friends with an inflatable tube.
