We woke to such a beautiful day this morning (the weather which had been forecast for yesterday probably!) that we were all sad to leave our lovely beach but we had to push on today so we left first thing. North first to Decathlon (well we haven't visited yet so far this trip) and then on a long drive through numerous tunnels and across bridges to Nothern Italy passing lots of lovely riviera towns probably but none looked particularly accessible for a big beast...

As we couldn't find the beach in Frejus and it was pebbbles in Nice we decided to go find a nice beach and so headed down to Pampelonne beach in St Tropez where we have parked up about 10m from the beach - wahey! We had a mad dash from the bus to the train only to find the train was delayed... and then delayed all the way to Nice... but luckily that gave us time to get the day's schoolwork done before arriving. We started the day in the wonderful sunshine of Avignon but having decided to drive on today we arrived in Frejus mid-afternoon.
