Vicuna can run 67 miles an hour and prefer to feed out here in the open where they can outrun the puma, their mortal enemy. Just looking, you could never tell what they found to eat, it looks like so much gravel from here. Their wool is prized for it's softness. Much finer than llama wool, their's is warm, fluffy and silky.
