Recoleta cemetery is where the rich, the VERY rich, are buried. But not underground--they're in crypts in these mausoleums, each one more elaborate than the last. Home of dead generals, presidents and heros galore, this display of grief and uncontrolled despair seems as excessive as the display of wealth compared to, say, neat rows of white crosses at Arlington cemetery. Wow, huge difference when you think of it that way.
