Hello! Today Tom and I had a much better look round Bangkok, we got up quite early and had a really nice breakfast at the hotel and then straight out the door at about 10 o'clock. We then got the underground to a place called San Yam which is where we thought we would find a snake farm! We walked around for about half an hour and couldn't find it. A tuk-tuk driver then pulled up next to us and we asked him to take us to the river where they do longboat tours. A fifteen minute journey cost us 30 baht which is about 65p!!! We couldn't believe it!! The river was massive and looked pretty dirty but there were lots of fish jumping everywhere. I think they were called telapia. Apparently quite nice to eat! That lasted about an hour and was really good. We got taken down lots of weird canals with peoples houses on stilts in the river! It was all quite odd but there were some temples along the way which were very beautiful. I've already taken about 50 photos!!! I'll try and post a couple if I get access to a computer. We going to either the night Market or Thai Boxing this evening, I can't wait! All very exciting with lots of lovely food along the way. In the stalls there are massive vegetable spring rolls for about 15p! It's food heaven. We had fried shrimp with glass noodles, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls and two Chang beers for 5 pounds!! All the bartering with taxis and people at the stalls and markets is really good fun! That's all for today but I'll try and check in tomorrow too.

Mum Sounds like a great day, I am very jealous about the food. Try and remember some of the dishes and maybe we could have a go at recreating them in our cooking lessons once you get back home! xx
Matt Sounds sweet :-D you need to get a fishing rod though to catch some of the fish in the rivers and canals! xxx
