Hello again. Great to see & chat with you last night. Just caught up on your latest literary masterpiece & like everyone else, we thought it was hilarious. Had a pretty good day. The tree roots have been defeated & so has Micky Adams' Coventry. We had the added bonus of surprise guest at the match, Sheila. George is stuck in France so Sheila had his ticket & was fortunate to witness one of the seasons best performances. She has your website details so hopefully will find time to check out your experiences. She's had quite a year herself so it was good to catch up with her news although the 2000 decibel PA system made conversation a bit difficult. Hope to see you both again soon now we've mastered this web cam thingy. Love Mum & Dad xxxx

Hey Bro and Vic.
Glad to see you got out of Bolivia, before you were lost there for an eternity!! Just read your postcards and Mum and I were in histerics, it could only happen to you!! I can't decide what is funnier, your adventures or your hair!! Anyway not much happening at home, other than me making a drunken fool of myself as per normal! This time on a works conference, and being PA to the head of the company, I think everyone expected me to be prim and proper, oh how wrong they were!!! Firstly I was sat next to a very drunk man at dinner and to get through dinner with him I drank and drank, oh and of course it was free wine, so I drank more, evil evil wine!! Then the stand up comic after dinner decided to ignore the table that he was suppost to pick on and chose me to pick on instead, oh the joy, (actuallly it was quite funny). Lastly, as if I couldn't humilate myself any further, I found an Irish man, well actually it wasn't that hard as there were many to choose from, all strangley wearing kilts. I am sure you can picture me now, and not only once did I look up some poor unfortunate man's kilt , but that many times that I can't remember. When I finally decided I couldn't see anymore and went to bed, I spent an hour trying to put my pyjama top on much to the amusement of my roomy, as you can imagine, I gave up only to wake the next morning very very confused!! Anyway, the guys in the office are all still having a field day, the only saving grace was that Alan, who I work for, couldn't make it!
Amy (In Cyprus)

Maradonna Is A Super Model!
No, we haven't seen him in real life but we did see him on the TV and he is soooo skinny now. Apparently he had his stomach stappled and so he's lost alot of weight. He looks like the Maradonna we all love to hate again! The hand of god slims on.
"don't Cry For Me Argentina!!!"
Yes... here we are in Buenos Aires. After an AMAZING 20 hour bus journey! Yes, we love the buses here in Argentina. They serve you a 3 course meal with wine and then the finest champagne and whiskey!!!! Its true! Planning to drag Sig around the Eva Peron Museum before our first Tango lesson. Should be good fun. The falls were amazing and we'll definatly update the site ASAP. Good to hear from you all. And congratulations Amy, it sounds like you made a really good impression at your interview, we're very proud of you. Have a great holiday and we look forward to hearing from you when you get back. Hy Guys
Glad to hear you have arrived safely in Argentina, just in the nick of time by the sounds of it!
Trust Simon to get the horse with the wind problem! Only 2 months to go now, better let the lodger know you're coming back soon, although he keeps your room very tidy! Have booked a table at Truffles to celebrate your
safe return.
We had Mick and Brenda staying last weekend, (Dads oldest friend) I couldnt believe the stories that Mick was
telling me about the antics your dad got up to when he was young, usually when he had partaken of the alcoholic
beverage, although your Dad doesnt seem to remember much! Whats even worse is that some of the stories
seem to be when we were married! He's a dark horse.
Hope the money is still holding out. At least when you get to Brazil youll be earning your keep, so that should
save you a bit!
Take care.
Also love to down under.
Lots of Love

Hello Parents!
CONGRATULATIONS DAD!!! Excellent news! We are very proud of you. London Marathon next???......
We made it to Argentina! After a very hot bus ride and a walk across the border we were finally on Argentine soil. Only problem.....no dinero!! Yes all the cash machines had NO money! Luckerly we had some Bolivian money and with some new found American friends (Amar and Tom) to help out we made it to Salta. It's fantastic and worlds apart from Bolivia, although we loved Bolvia!! The horse riding was excellent! We survived! Sig had a very windy horse and we couldn't stop laughing. Only problem was that I was behind and got all the horsey pumps in my face! I advised Sig to wear trousers so no incidents like France, Mum. Well, It looks like Bolivia is officially closed, yes the border, shops, banks, buses...everything! Not too sure why and for how long but luckerly we got out while we still could. Now the plan is: 30 hour bus ride to Foz de Iguasu, couple of days there and then another very long bus journey to Bueños Aires! Then it'll be tango! steaks! Boca Jnrs! and Evita! All before our plane journey to Sao Paulo, a quick Portugeuse course and then we start our confirmed volunteering work in the Amazon on the 1st November! can't wait. Thanks to Louise for her message and Amy. I hope your interview went well and have a great holiday! Lots of love to all. V & S xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi, Sorry we missed you. We got to see the final in a nice pub in the old town in Bridlington. Sad to say it was about the right result but that doesn't make us feel any better does it? Couldn't get online to chat with you. Internet cafe's have not yet reached Brid'. We've had to drive to Filey Library to post this. You will remember Filey. The coloured balls pit where you saved Katies life when she swallowed her tongue.......We've just driven past the campsite. Anyway. were staying at a very nice place & after yesterday dad's feeling pretty pleased with himself. Would have settled for 2 hours but the drugs kicked in just right & 1 hr 46 mins was pretty good for a creaky old man! Had a nice time with KT on Sat'am. Had lunc, a wander round Leeds & a look at the photo exhibition in Millenium Square. It was great. Will get back on line & test web cam when we get home. Back Tues but football Tues night (Burnley & Ady Akinbyi) so it will be Weds. Hope you are both ok. Watch them horses sig. Don't do what Mandy did in France (Ask Tor). Love Mum & Dad xxxx

well i thought it was about time i got on and said hello, i have been keeping upto date daily on you fantastic adventures, but what i do seems so mundane and boring that i have not left a message, cooper misses his best friend as he tells me, you know that girl who left and is on another island finaly i figured it out and said vic and so i showed him some photos of you guys and he just now wants to know where johhny jupe is. As i said nothing much going on, our excitement is starting the front yard , we have done all the edging and have had the top soil delivered today so some more back breaking work on the weekend, nick, ellen and richards son just celebrated his 21st and wound up in hospital the next day with pnemona(not very good at spelling), he is getting better now.nick and marks birthdays are one day apart and now their babies are due one day apart, pretty spooky. Amandas kitchen is all in , just the tilling and painting to go but it looks fantastic and she is over the moon. must go thinking of you both all the time, lots of love lou
